INSTALLATION

#

The Insulated Brick Façade Panels are clearly shaped and mount like a puzzle, and are also sold with integrated insulation anchor, which are simplifies the installation process. The clinker tiles have already been installed to the panel. Only joints need to be grouted. For fixing the panels on the facade, you don’t need special skills and professional tools. The required set is limited to the saw (circular or table), drill or impact driver, mortar grout gun, level, as well as a trowel for grouting. From materials, pre-purchase mounting polyurethane foam, screws and frost- and water-resistant outside grout. On this, the preparation is over – you can proceed with the installation of thermal panels.

Installation of Insulated Brick Facade Panels doesn’t require prior installation of a vapor barrier and water barrier, because the panels form a water- and vapor- proofing layer on the external walls of the entire house.

Stage # 1: Markup

Using the level need to mark the horizon line around the perimeter of the building.

Stage # 2: Starter Base installation

Along the entire perimeter of the foundation, at the required height from the ground, the starting base must be mounted.

Stage #3 Panel mounting

Installation of the Insulated Brick Façade Panels always starts from the corner of the building. Then continue to install the wall panels. All joints between the panels are recommended to be fixed with polyurethane foam.

The Panels are fixed with screws in the manufacture installed pins. After completing the installation of the first row, proceed to the mounting of the second row, also starting from the corner of the building. The joint between the panels of the first and second row must be sealed with the PU foam as well.

Stage #3 Window and door corners.

We offer several options:

The first - the installation of Insulated Insulated Brick window corners. The most elegant and harmonious variant, however, the most expensive.

Metal Window Sills:

Durability: Metal window sills, often made from aluminum or steel, are durable and resistant to weathering. They are generally low-maintenance and resistant to pests. This type of sills can provide a modern and sleek aesthetic to the window.

Plastic Window Sills:

Plastic window sills are often more affordable compared to other materials. They are lightweight and easy to install. Available in various colors and designs, offering versatility in aesthetics.

PVC Window Sills:

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is highly resistant to moisture and water damage. Resistant to pests like termites. Provides good insulation, contributing to energy efficiency.

Wooden Window Sills:

Wooden window sills provide a classic and warm aesthetic. Insulating Properties: Wood naturally insulates against temperature and sound. Can be easily customized and painted to match exterior design.

Stage # 3: Grouting

After the installation of Insulated Brick Façade Panels is completed, you can proceed to the final finishing - grouting of seams with a frost-resistant epoxy compound. This step is recommended at temperatures above 32F.

Cement grout.

In addition to Portland cement, they contain various additives: colorants and plasticizers. Additional components provide frost resistance, increased moisture resistance, etc. Cement grout is often released in the form of a powder, which is mixed with water in the required amount. Ready-made mixtures can be used (in plastic buckets of various volumes), but their use is more expensive.

Resistant Epoxy Grout

Most importantly, epoxy grout is strong and durable. It is highly resistant to stains, cracks, chemicals, harsh weather conditions, and climate changes. These characteristics make epoxy grout the only way to go if you’re looking for the most durable, efficient way to do clinker tile work. The strength of epoxy grout makes it perfect for any tile job, indoors or outdoors. The resistance to weather and climate changes makes it ideal for areas where it will be subjected to harsh weather conditions or excessive amounts of humidity or severe cold.

You will hear a lot of talk about the difficulty of working with epoxy grout. Early epoxy products were difficult, but changes in the formulation have made epoxy grout easy to work with.
